Rakel Bernie
Rakel Bernie lives and works in Miami. She was born in
Santa Fe, Argentina. Bernie attended Richmond College London,
UK and The New Richmond School of Art taking courses in
painting and drawing with Judy Bibby M.A. (Royal College
of Art). In 1996 she moved to Miami, Florida where she
attended Miami Dade College. She completed her B.F.A.
at the New World School of the Arts.
Her work has been exhibited at Paraguayan-American
Binational Art Exhibit. Arte Americas Miami. The Boca Raton
Museum of Art, Boca Raton. She has also participated in numerous
projects and exhibitions during Art Basel in Miami, Fl. Her
work has been reviewed in Arte al Dia, L’ Express International
and the Miami Herald.
Rakel Bernie is the founder of Plant a Heart Installation Project. She participated
in Arts for Life International Arts Partnership Forum. In November she is taking
part as a juror on the NFAA-ARTS(Program of National foundation for the Advancement
in the Arts)
