Jessica Bronson
Jessica Bronson, a Los Angeles artist working in video and audio
has had solo exhibitions at several venues, including MOCA in
Los Angeles, Matrix at the Berkeley Art Museum, ArtPace in San
Antonio, CRG Gallery in New York and Goldman Tevis in Los Angeles.
Bronson has also been included in numerous group exhibitions,
including Let¹s Entertain at the Walker Art Center, Made
in California at LACMA, Shifting Ground: Transformed Views of
the American Landscape at the Henry Art Gallery in Seattle and
Sunshine and Noir at the Louisiana Museum in Denmark. Bronson
was recently awarded the Freund Fellowship jointly sponsored
by the Saint Louis Art Museum and Washington University. She
has also received the Tiffany Grant, the MOCA/Citibank Emerging
Artist Award and an Art Matters Grant. She is a
current member of School of Arts faculty at CalArts in Valencia,
CA. Prior to this position, Bronson held a full-time position
at Art Center College of Design. She also taught at Otis College
of Art and Design and has lectured extensively in Europe and
the United States.
