Joe Sola
Joe Sola works in a variety of mediums including video,
watercolor, and performance. His work operates in the
fuzzy electric space between cinema and the real world. His
work has been exhibited internationally: Museo Rufino Tamayo,
Mexico City, Mexico, InSite 2000, San Diego + Mexico, ICA
London, and as part of the 1999 Havana Biennial, Havana,
Cuba.
In the United States his work has been exhibited at many
public institutions including: J, Paul Getty Museum, Los
Angeles, CA Wexner Center for the Arts, Columbus, OH, The
2002 California Biennial, Orange County Museum of Art, Newport
Beach, CA Berkley Museum of Art/Pacific Film Archives, Berkeley,
